Too Wired for Wireless

Baby and iPad

Children are increasingly becoming addicted to wireless technologies, especially iPads and smart phones. A recent study conducted in the UK described children as young as 4 years old suffering from serious withdrawal symptoms and requiring psychological counseling when an iPad was removed from their use.

This new information adds to the growing concern about children using wireless devices and their exposure to the radio frequency radiation (RFR) needed for their operation. Early childhood development experts are also concerned that young children addicted to wireless devices are not interacting with their siblings, peers and adults nearly enough to develop normal, healthy social relationships. So as a parent trying to raise a healthy child in this increasingly techno world, limiting your child’s time on wireless devices makes a lot of sense!
