Arsenic in Rice

A recent Consumer Reports study found high levels of organic and inorganic arsenic in rice. This is due to some rice being grown in former cotton fields with arsenic residue. There are techniques to reduce exposure such as washing the rice before use. There are also healthful alternatives such as quinoa. See the full story here.
